Presentation Day – Reminder to invited teams
Reminder to everyone of the dates for our Awards Day. Winter season – Saturday 14th May 2022. Spring season – Saturday & Sunday 11th/12th June 2022.
The Winter season awards will be held on Saturday 14th May at the Royal Concert Hall. All those teams who are Champions/Runners Up have been invited already by email. In order to confirm you are coming and to help us work out the running order, you need to confirm with the YEL Office – events@yelonline.com – that you are coming and have sent a £40 per team deposit to the following account details:

When making payments online, you need to confirm your team name and age ground and playing day. Deadline for notifying the league of your attendance/non attendance is Monday 14th February 2022.
Full details of the event will be sent out in due course but it is important we know numbers now.
Under 8s – completing match returns
FOR U8s TEAM ADMINS/MANAGERS – Firstly, a big thank you to all current U8s teams who have already tried this. 100% success rate! Just a reminder to those who haven’t, now is a good time for current U8 managers (2022/23 season U9s) to start getting into the habit of completing match returns on Full-time. Whilst it is not currently a mandatory requirement, as you are U8s, it does become so when you get to U9s. This is the single biggest, easily avoidable fine in the list of fines that can be imposed. Incomplete match returns account for 75% of the fines raised by the league. Get ahead of the game and get into the habit. Contact your referee to confirm the game AND if the game is postponed
It is vitally important that you contact your YEL appointed referee as soon as you receive notification from full-time of a referee appointment. If you don’t, there is every likelihood you will be referred to the YEL Discipline Team for failing to follow league rules and end up not being appointed referees in the future.
Also, if your game is postponed or cancelled, you must contact your referee to advise them. No point in just notifying the opposition and forgetting the referee. If you have confirmed the game and forgotten to notify them of a postponement and they turn up, they will be entitled to their full fee from you.
