Graham Saville – One minute silence/applause this weekend

Many of you will have seen the news about Graham Saville – a serving police officer and YEL manager – who, earlier this week, sadly succumbed to his injuries sustained in rescuing another person from the railway at Balderton.
.
At times like this, the football community comes together. We would like every YEL club/team to show their unity and support for Graham’s family, friends and colleagues by holding a minute’s applause/silence before every YEL game this coming weekend.

A fundraising page has been set up to support Graham’s family – https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Baldertonpolicehero?utm_term=447A8zy2P

YEL Respect traffic light system status

All teams that were in the YEL last season should be aware of their Respect traffic light system status going into this new season. If you are unsure of what your status is, ask your club secretary to update you. They can find by logging into Scoreline, selecting my clubs from the left hand menu, then click the blue ‘club’ button on the club card and scrolling to the bottom. Whatever status you were on at the end of last season has rolled through into the start of this season. IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY RESET TO GREEN JUST BECAUSE IT’S A NEW SEASON. Reviews by the YEL Respect team take place regularly to determine whether a team moves down a level although you should expect to be kept on the same status level for around six months in order to prove that undesirable conduct has been properly addressed by the club/team.

Outstanding league fees

Firstly, we wish to issue an apology to any clubs who did not receive a notification of outstanding fees prior to the email sent this week. There appears to have been an issue with the system where a few clubs did not receive the reminder at the end of July.

As a result of the above, everyone is good to play this weekend although e would ask that the handful of clubs who have not paid their fees, please do so during the course of the coming week as we do need to apply the rules.

IMPORTANT: Scoreline Update – resetting password info

Thank you for your patience while we completed the recent upgrade to Scoreline. This upgrade has been completed and you can now access Scoreline at https://portal.yelscoreline.com

This change required updates to the platform security and you will need to reset your password to access Scoreline. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://portal.yelscoreline.com/user/password &  enter your email address or username. This must match your email/username exactly & NOT include any spaces.

2. Once you have entered this and clicked the button to confirm, you will be automatically sent an email containing a reset link.

3. Click on the link in the email and enter your new password.

Please allow up to 30 MINUTES for your email to arrive and check your junk/spam folders. If you have still not received an email after 30 minutes, please contact support@yelscoreline.com to request a manual password reset.
