Remembrance Weekend – One minute silence before YEL Games– Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th
As is customary at this time of the year we take a moment to remember family and friends who have given their lives so we may live ours in the way each and every one of wishes to, we would remind all YEL member clubs and teams that, as this weekend is Remembrance Sunday, we would request that everyone honours those who have made the ultimate sacrifice by holding a one minute silence before every YEL game on Saturday & Sunday.
Match returns – teams being fined then suspended
Despite numerous reminders, there are still some U9 to U14 teams that are not completing match returns on Full-Time which is a league rule. This is not acceptable. Fines are being issued which are totally avoidable and create unnecessary admin. Any team that has two or more outstanding match returns will not only have to pay the fines but will have their upcoming matches suspended until the outstanding returns are brought up to date.
Notts FA Coaches Club partners with YEL Advance – 19th Nov 6pm – FREE
Notts FA Coaches Club have partnered with YEL Advance to bring a an evening of FREE learning to YEL coaches of all age groups. The session will be a mixture of observing UEFA licence coaches in action followed by a Q&A session. The event takes place at Clifton Football Centre on Friday 19th November from 6pm onwards. If you have any match day queries when at your game – Saturday or Sunday – and need advice, contact the YEL Game Day Hotline. It is monitored by YEL staff and is available between 9.30am and 12.30pm for match day queries only.
