Having looked at the remaining fixtures, the additional bank holiday and the date for the YEL Awards, it has been decided that there will be NO PLAY OFFS arranged for this Spring season to decide Champions/Runners Up positions. Teams that are tied on points with either be JOINT CHAMPIONS or JOINT RUNNERS UP. We have also noted that a number of teams who are challenging for the top positions in divisions are involved in semi finals of the various cup competitions and potentially finals. It would be unfair to have rules for some and different rules for others.

Suspension of fixtures looming for some teams
Despite the reminders issued over recent weeks regarding incomplete match returns, there are 14 teams where they have three or more match returns outstanding. Under league rules/regulations they are facing suspension of fixtures until these returns are brough up to date. If you have received an email from the YEL Office advising that you have incomplete match returns, please ensure these are brought up to date immediately.
