Information checks continue…

All divisions are now set up and fixtures created. We now need to complete the final part of the journey for each team and make sure you are compliant with FA/League Rules & Regulations and have the correct FA contacts in place for administration purposes.

Each team contact listed on Scoreline needs to complete a 5 min task to confirm a  minimum of two coaches that will be taking the team for training and matches; which person will be the primary contact to receive fixture notifications, referee appointments etc and confirm the person responsible for reporting the score.

Can the team contact listed on Scoreline please log into Scoreline and click the ‘info check’ button in the left hand menu (see image). You then need to click the blue button ‘complete the info check’

Once you have clicked save, the information can’t be changed so please make sure you have all the information to hand. Reminder: A coach cannot be listed a coach for more than one team on each playing day.

We will be reviewing the information over the next seven days and non compliant teams could receive a fine and will have their fixtures withdrawn until they are compliant

NB: Cancelling through lack of coaches = cancelling through lack of players
If you cancel a game through lack of coaches, it will be the same process as cancelling a game through lack of players

Team officials photos need adding to coaches Whole Game System profile

There are still over 350 coaches on WGS who have not uploaded a head and shoulders image of themselves to their WGS profile – No photograph makes the team non compliant and therefore ineligible to start the season.

For those who have not done it, please do so immediately as we will be continuing to check for the next 7 days and will start to postpone fixtures for those non compliant teams.

Our League Regulation 1(B)(iv) states:

‘Team Officials (Manager/Coach/Assistant Manager/Assistant Coach) must have their photo uploaded to Club Portal.

A parent can stand in if either coach is not present provided they have an in date FA safeguarding children certificate and in date FA DBS.

Failure of a team to comply with this rule will result in the membership application to join the league being rejected. If a team is not compliant with this regulation during the season, it will receive a fine of up to £100 for failing to follow a management instruction and will have its fixtures withdrawn immediately until the team becomes compliant.’

This regulation is an additional safeguarding measure to help everyone know who is standing on the coaches’ side of the pitch and to assist YEL Respect Field Officers/County FA Officials when checking that those coaching, have the necessary in date qualifications to allow them to do so.

Nottingham Forest Women – potential for group ticket discounts and other opportunities

As we are looking to forge closer links with the club, we’re carrying out a survey on Scoreline to gauge interest in potential group ticket offer discounts, match day mascots etc. for Nottingham Forest Women home games which will be at The City Ground this season.

Can all team contacts who are interested in knowing further details about potential opportunities, please log in to Scoreline and click ‘surveys’ from the left hand menu and complete the two minute survey. Those who have shown an interest will be given further details as and when they are available. Survey will be open for seven days until Friday 23rd August.

Under 7s first fixtures information

welcome to the new Under 7 season and below is some September information

Saturday 7th/Sunday 8th September
The YEL U7 Festival (in partnership with Forest) FULL BOTH DAYS

Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th September onwards
You will see on FA Full Time we now have fixtures for 3 weeks and apart from a couple of matches, teams will play round robin 3 team fixtures!! WHY 3 teams round robin?  2 x 20 minute matches per team will ensure any mismatch is a shorter match and with 6 results per team in 3 weeks (plus the festival) we will have plenty of data to grade all the teams for October. We will also work hard to make sure everyone gets that first win.

ALL teams will have at least one home fixture in the 3 weeks and host 2 other teams. If the venue need to be changed, it needs to change for all 3 matches, so email details to yel@live.co.uk

Every effort should be made to keep Kick Off Times the same as website (if a clash with under 8s the U8s should move YEL instruction) If you do need to change KO time speak to other 2 teams and then ask YEL Office to update all 3 matches. The YEL reserve the right to change the home team if reasonable KO time cannot be offered.

You should be able to find contact info for all U7 teams in YEL Scoreline

Any issues email yel@live.co.uk
Contacting the YEL

If you email the YEL OFFICE – yel@live.co.uk – please ensure you state the team name, age group and playing day so we can quickly deal with the enquiry
