| Having reviewed the Respect cases since the start of the season, we are excited to report that over 95% of the teams in the league are on green (starting point) on the YEL traffic light system. This is a marked improvement and is testament to the hard work the YEL Respect team put in and to the clubs, teams, coaches and supporters who are ensuring that children play football in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment. A massive ‘Thank You’ to you all.
This weekend sees the climax of many of our winter season divisions. There are a number of potential title deciders and we would ask that everyone continues to support the players and the referees in the right way.
We will be sending out our army of Respect Field Officers (RFOs) to as many of these important games as possible to ensure the correct standards are being observed. They may or may not introduce themselves to you but please be aware they are likely to be in attendance. |
