England Accreditation deadline 30th April
FINAL WARNING – Notts FA have advised there are STILL clubs who have not made contact with them regarding the completion of their England Accreditation which has a 30th April deadline. As an England Accredited League we are required to only accept clubs who hold England Accreditation; Clubs who have demonstrated they are well organised with suitably qualified coaches. Only England Accredited clubs will be accepted as per our League Regs (excl newly formed clubs who get 12 months grace). Any club that has not completed/ achieved their England Accreditation by the AGM will NOT be accepted/readmitted into the League for the 2023-24 season.
Cup Finals – ID checks, team sheets, cup tied players & no extra time
Cup tied players – Any player who has played in a previous round for another team in the same age group and playing day cannot play for another team in the same age group cup competition as they will be cup tied and therefore ineligible. Any team found to have played an ineligible player will be removed from the competition. Please check and make sure you do not fall foul of this rule.
Cup Rules & ID Checks – Please ensure you have read and understand the cup rules inc ID checks and proving team sheets to the refs – YELonline.com -under rules and regulations.
Extra Time & Penalties – If the scores in the cup finals are level at the end or normal time, THERE WILL BE NO EXTRA TIME. The game will go straight to penalties. Check YEL Rules for details.

e-registering teams on Scoreline opens on Monday 1st May
CLUB SECRETARIES: As this season draws to a close, it is now time to confirm whether or not your current teams will be continuing next year. Managers/ coaches should get in touch with their club secretaries to confirm whether their team is continuing next season. The process in the YEL is very simple and set out below. All teams names/age groups are current 2022/23 age groups. These automatically age by one year at midnight May 31st/June 1st in readiness for the new 2023/24 season eg YEL Utd U12 Blue will become YEL Utd U13 Blue.
On Monday 1st May all team headers in the Teams section on Scoreline will be changed to blue. These will indicate the teams where no action has been taken yet by the club. Once you have decided on whether a team is continuing or not, follow the instructions below. If the team is continuing – you tick ‘confirm.’ If a team is not continuing – you click ‘remove.’ Once you click ‘save’ the header in the main ‘Teams’ page will change to green for the ‘confirmed and continuing’ and red for those ‘not continuing’. Only teams that are ‘confirmed’ will roll through/age at midnight on May 31st. All others will be removed from the league and any teams wishing to continue after the roll through will need to reapply. No invoices will be raised until June 1st when we know which teams are continuing. Current U14 will need to be ticked as ‘remove’ as they will had come to the end of their YEL experience.

- Click on “Clubs/Teams/Contacts” from the left hand main menu
FROM MAY 1ST (not as showing today) All Teams are displayed on this screen and the top border highlights the intended action for this team for the new season:
- Blue – Not yet decided; Green – Renewing for new season; Red – Removing/not continuing
- Click on “Clubs” from the tab menu at the top.
- Search for your club (or click ‘My Club’ tab) and select it by clicking on the name or the arrow to the bottom right of the card.
- Scroll down the page to the “Team Actions” section:
From here you can choose “Confirm” or “Remove” for each team. You can also take action on multiple teams by clicking the checkbox to the right of the team and choosing the relevant action from the “Action” dropdown menu above the teams.
Once you have done this, click ‘save.’ If you are not sure about a particular team, you can leave it and come back to it at a later time provided it is done by midnight 31st May.

Can we remind all teams of the rules. This is not the Premier League – you can’t take more than the maximum number specified below.
Any teams reported for using more than the permitted number of subs will be referred to the YEL Discipline Team.
U7/U8 – 5 substitutes
U9/U10 – 7 substitutes
U11/U12 – 5 substitutes
U13/U14 – 5 substitutes
