| We will hopefully completely 95% of the Winter League season this weekend. There will be no league fixtures on 20/21 or 27/28 Dec unless requested by both teams. The 3 and 4 January will be used as a final chance to complete the Winter league season.
The YEL will not be scheduling friendlies or Cup on those dates. |
Cup Matches
Any Cup match postponed by the weather this weekend, will be rescheduled for 10/11 January. Any Cup postponed 10/11 January would be rescheduled at least 2 weeks later.
The FA Full Time system has been changed until 31 Dec, so that teams can update Kick Off times and venues without emailing the YEL.
U7 to u10 Fixtures for January are on the website and u11 to u14s will be added next week. |
It will be IMPOSSIBLE to get the new Spring Divisions perfect, as we are restricted to Divisions of 7 or 8 teams. We have to make choices as best we can based on the league tables after this weekends matches. Our aim is a competitive game for all, but numbers dictate that not everyone will be happy with the outcome, apologies in advance, but there is no appeal.
| Those teams that have already been invited, please respond with player fee payments or an email to events@yelonline.com to confirm team does not wish to attend. We need to fully assess numbers and save some places for teams who complete the season this weekend. We also need to confirm options for u14s. |
Cancellation Changes & Fines

As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, from January fixtures, we will no longer be applying a fine to any match cancellations. All Friendlies cancelled without charge, but please be respectful of opposition and cancel early. League matches one ‘free’ cancellation up to Thursday before the game, any 2nd cancel is awarded. All Cup cancels are awarded but no fine.
We will also not be fining for Match Report issues, but repeat offenders could have matches suspended for non compliance. |
