YEL Update – 27th March 2026

YEL Update – 27th March

With the season now approaching its final stages, we wanted to share a few important updates to help us get all fixtures completed and keep things running smoothly.

We know it’s been a challenging few months with the weather and scheduling, so a big thank you to all clubs, managers, volunteers and referees for your continued support.

Wishing all teams and referees the very best for the final part of the season – good luck to you all ⚽

📅 Season Completion

  • We’re aiming to have all league fixtures completed by 30 April where possible.
  • We know it’s been a challenging season with the weather, so thank you as always for your flexibility and support.
  • The March & April schedule document has been shared – if you haven’t seen this, just email office@yelonline.com and we’ll resend it.

❗ Scheduling, Cancellations & Flexibility

  • From 1 April, we move into the final phase of the season so scheduling becomes even more important.
  • We’d really appreciate clubs doing everything they can to fulfil fixtures where possible.
  • To support this, we may look to reverse fixtures or use midweek dates where needed.
  • If rearranging, just make sure it’s agreed early and shared with the office within the deadlines, we’re here to help.

🏆 Cups & Play-Offs

  • A quick reminder that league fixtures take priority at this stage of the season.
  • Please also take a moment to check for any cup-tied players before fixtures to avoid any issues.
  • We’ll continue to support teams with play-offs and fixtures across April and early May.

💼 Outstanding Balances

  • Whilst we’ve removed some administration-related fines from 1st January, there are still outstanding balances prior to this.
  • Please take a moment to review your position on Scoreline and settle any outstanding payments where possible.
  • If you have any queries or need support, just contact office@yelonline.com.

⚽ 3v3 Football is Coming…

  • We’re always looking at ways to support player development and enjoyment, and 3v3 football is something we’re really excited about 👀
  • A format designed to give players more touches, more involvement and more time on the ball.
  • More to follow soon – plenty to look forward to.
